Pot calling the kettle racist
A recent article cites that Harry Reid (fool savant) claims that the GOP would’ve supported slavery and somehow ties this to their opposition to the Healthcare reform act. The man is a liar and an idiot. Here’s why: He choses to be ignorant of history. It was the Democrats who were the slave owners and fought to keep slavery. Characters like John C. Calhoun et. al. were the South Democrats who fought to keep slavery and chose to secede from the Union. Those who fought to abolish slavery such as Abe Lincoln, were REPUBLICANS. After the civil war it took years to establish civil rights for all. Those who fought for civil rights: The Republicans. Those who fought AGAINST civil rights: The Democrats.
The Democrats say they are the party of the people. They say they are the party of the minority, but this is simply rhetoric to pitch a sale. At the end of the day they are nothing but a bunch of sleazy salesman purporting synthetic virtues to convince people to put them in power. Once in power, they forget their promises, and move to expand their control over our lives. They are interested in one thing p-o-w-e-r. And they will say and do anything to get it. Just look at what they do with environmentalism. They claim they weep for the planet, make promises, and legislate that you and I bow down at the alter of this new religion. Why? Because it gives them power. They don’t give a rip about the planet, and any of them that know basic science knows that industrialization is a drop in the bucket of the factors of climate change.
Back to the subject at hand.
See for yourself the history of the Dems on slavery and human rights, and you will be astonished at the stark contrast between what they say and what they do. Hypocrites and liars!
